Let's Do this: A 21-Day Retrograde Grounding Challenge

I just found out about this today, whole watching one of my favorite readers on YouTube.

She offers a lot of other things, besides the readings, like tarot training, meditation circles, etc., but I was delighted to discover that this one is free (my favorite price).

Check it out and let me know what you think.

21-Day Retrograde
Grounding Challenge

Do you ever have those days when even the basics of your spiritual beliefs or practices seem to elude you?

You start questioning who you really are and why you’re even here, as if you can only find that answer in the latest headlines or whatever drama the outside world has decided to serve up today. I feel like this organized challenge offers a good way, each day, to come back home to yourself.

This is not a good time to expect the outside world to give you a sense of safety or identity (it really never is), but you can try an inner reset.

Drop down into your heart. (Go even deeper if you're up for it—right into your belly.) Let your breath land, and notice what shifts.

It's a pause, a soft return, but this is a good way to remind yourself how much bigger you are than yesterday's story.

So let me tell you about the 21-day retrograde grounding group. When we're in retrograde, it's not as good a time to start things that are brand new.

It's better to focus on renewing something that used to come naturally. Retrograde energy isn’t about pushing forward; it’s about pausing, reassessing, and reviving what you already know works for you.

Instead of fighting the tide, you swim with it.

So let's talk about the details...

Details of the 21-Day Challenge

Pick one practice you know makes you feel more like yourself—maybe it’s morning meditation, jotting down what you’re grateful for, stretching after yoga, or saying a quick intention before your daily walk.

One suggestion is to attach this practice to something you already do anyway.

If you make a cup of tea every morning, that could be your moment. Tie your renewed practice to that daily anchor to make it feel almost automatic.

Part of this challenge is the support you get from knowing that others are doing the challenge, too.  You don’t have to do it alone.

When you share updates, cheer each other on, and check in—whether that’s online, with a buddy, or through group posts—you’re much more likely to keep at it. Science supports this: your odds of a habit sticking go way up with group connection and encouragement.

Over these three weeks, there’s group support to help you stay the course, like daily posts, tarot cards, and encouraging words just when you need them. There will be two Reiki healing meditations you can join in on if you'd like, bringing you back to your intentions and clearing out anything heavy.

Then, you can end the challenge with a group circle, a celebration close to the end of retrograde, around August 10th or 11th, where everyone can celebrate however much of the challenge they completed.

What you’ll notice, if you really show up for yourself, is that letting your grounding, or comfort-centered practice back into your days often brings more than you expected. You might start out hoping for a little more peace or a bit of grounding, but then you catch yourself tapping into a deeper power, a truer version of you.

A reminder: you’re not here just to survive or play along with whatever script someone else handed you. You’re here to wake up to your own light, step into your creative power, and reconnect with the truth that’s always lived in you.

Your breath can do more than just keep you going, it can bring you home to all of who you are, right in the middle of your ordinary day, and help you create a life that you love living. So even if your renewed practice is to breathe deeply and slowly for a moment each day, it will reward you more powerfully than you might think.

And I include this part as a reminder to myself, too...

No matter what the outer world looks like, your home frequency, your wholeness, your love, and your power are always here, waiting for you to claim and experience them. And the real magic is that if you forget, you can always come back again, as many times as you need.

So what do you think? I'm in, and I hope you are, too.

Here's the link to her video. And to participate, you'll need to join her Patreon, because that's where the posts and check-ins will be, but that is also free.

See you next time!

Love, Jeanine

I like the idea of reconnecting with something that used to feel natural instead of always trying to start something new. That whole “swimming with the tide” approach definitely resonates. I’m not sure I’ll join in, but I’ll keep the idea in mind.

Right? I mean, it sounds easier, for one thing, but it also apparently is a way to lean into retrograde energy, instead of resisting or fighting it, and that seems like a way to have an easier time during a retrograde season. I hope some ideas come to you that inspired to join in, even if it's just on your own.

I love the idea of renewing, not necessarily starting over, although renewing what we already know is starting from a fresh vantage point!! Thanks for introducing us to this old soul!!

Oh, you're so welcome! I have been following her for years, and she is so kind and good-hearted. And hey, that's a good point. So you get "new beginning" energy, even though you are returning to something familiar.

This might be what I need. I will never want to start over, but to refresh and renew could be good for me.

It's always good to challenge ourselves. I feel like this is what I am doing - the UBC as a practice to come back to myself.

Courting our grounding, our inner peace, and our focus, is always a winning practice. I enjoyed your whole piece, and I especially resonated with this: "you’re not here just to survive or play along with whatever script someone else handed you. You’re here to wake up to your own light, step into your creative power, and reconnect with the truth that’s always lived in you." We do need to keep doing our best to wake up to our own light. Thanks, Jeanine!

You're welcome, Kebba! Oh, thanks, I'm glad it resonated with you. And yes we do. It's an ongoing process.
