How did the challenge go for you this month?

I am always so blessed to be able to hang out with blogger friends and have conversations about the things that matter most to us. And although it's a challenge each time, to write as many posts as I want to, I love the process of thinking through each topic and deciding what to share.

Thanks, you guys, for being with me this month! I hope the rest of your summer is wonderful, and I'll see you for the Ultimate Blog Challenge, Fall Edition.

P.S. I have a parting gift for you, for fall.

The Path to Emotional Healing

Inner healing is something that you are being called to explore at a much deeper level and in very new and unique ways. - Kerry K

Recuperate & Go Within

In her video below, Kerry K. talks about how lightworkers are likely to be overwhelmed (the ascension path can be exhausting), and because of that, shut down. And her suggested solution is to focus on recuperating from the overwhelm. The most important way to do that is to reconnect with your truest self.

In response to stress, we often shut down parts of ourselves without even realizing it. But healing it just requires slowing down and really being with ourselves.

The Path to Emotional Healing

3D life leaves wounds and scars. Taking the time and making the effort to heal can change everything in your experience as a lightworker.

Here's how to begin a healing practice...

(1) Spend Time Alone: Use practices like guided meditation and journaling, to identify and process emotional wounds and to recover from them.

Be still and meditate.

(2) Energy Clearing: Every time you connect to your divine self, you also raise your frequency and clear your energy field. But you also can use other energy healing techniques if you'd like.

(3) Get Support when You Need it: Connect with other lightworkers, therapists, or spiritual mentors who can provide guidance, acceptance and a safe space to talk about your feelings.

By nurturing your emotional well-being, you'll not only recover and heal, you'll also enhance your ability to radiate light and love to those around you and to humanity, in general.

Healing Takes Time

Is it taking longer to get there, or to come into your own, than you expected? Me, too. And I suspect that that might be the norm for lightworkers.

Takes a while to undo all of that programming!

But take your time. Your people will still be waiting for you, ready for your thought leadership, your voice, your message.

See you next time!

Slow down. That's where you find yourself. We were born for this! - Kerry K.

We're headed toward the end of the Ultimate Blog Challenge, summer edition!

And I decided that this month, I would share my message as often as possible. Today, that message is about slowing down and pausing for mindful connection.

You'll see what I mean when you listen to the video below - and you may notice my phone adding magical emphasis a couple of times. ;)

So here's why daily rituals and slow living are so important when you're on a spiritual path...

What do you think about today's message? Is it a practice you could create in your own life?

Remember to pause!

Heart-Centered Grounding

Being grounded is a term that refers to being present, centered, and aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. It can also mean having a strong sense of self and purpose, and trusting yourself. Grounding can be a powerful tool for mental and emotional health, and can help you feel less likely to be thrown off by upsetting events. - Google's AI Overview
Picture

Heart-Centered Grounding

Grounding is important for lightworkers, so that even though they spend a lot of time being tuned in, they are also able to be fully embodied and present in the moment. It's also important to stay connected to their purpose and grounded in the truth of who they are.

Though we're used to thinking of the grounding process as something that involves the feet and an earth connection, grounding can also occur through your heart center.

Heart-centered grounding allows lightworkers to anchor themselves in love and compassion, as well as in truth. By focusing on your heart, you can attune to the frequency of love, and feel that love as part of the experience of being centered and grounded.

Try this grounding exercise that focuses on the heart.

Heart-Centered
Anchoring Exercise

(1) Get into a comfy position. Close your eyes if you'd like.

(2) Place one hand over your heart. Take a few deep, slow breaths.

(3) As you breathe, focus on the warmth of your hand and the rhythm of your heartbeat.

(4) Visualize a soft, golden light glowing within your heart. With each breath, that light grows brighter and expands.

(5) Imagine this light creating a golden sphere around you, starting from your heart and extending outward.

(6) Within this sphere, imagine that you are held peacefully and securely by the energy of your heart.

(7) Think of a word or phrase that might help you feel centered (e.g., "peace," "strength," "balance"). Silently repeat this word or phrase with each breath.

(8) Feel yourself becoming calm, centered, and anchored, held within your heart's energy and the golden sphere of light.

(9) When you feel fully centered and grounded, slowly open your eyes, and take that grounded energy back into your day.

(10) Throughout your day, return briefly to this grounded state by placing a hand on your heart and thinking of your chosen word or phrase.

What was this exercise like for you? Tell me in a comment.

And check out Julie's blog post for another heart-centered way to get centered...

7 Ways to Create a Heart-Centered Lifestyle

7/23/2024

A heart-centered lifestyle is about finding your true self, understanding your values, and living a life that makes you happy.
- Google's AI Overview
Picture

Living a heart-centered life means choosing love instead of fear, living from the heart more than the head and not letting external issues steal your joy.

As lightworkers who are here to anchor higher frequencies, living from love and staying in its energy not only empowers us to live our purpose, it makes it possible for those frequencies to reach others.

Never is it more important than when something's wrong in our own personal world or in the world at large.

Here are 7 ways to create a heart-centered lifestyle...

Create a Heart-Centered Lifestyle

(1) Morning Rituals: Begin your day with a cozy ritual that connects you to your divine self.

(2) Mindful Breathing: Throughout your day, practice mindful breathing to center yourself. With each inhale, imagine drawing in pure, loving energy, and with each exhale, release any tension or negativity. How does your body feel when you breathe in love?

(3) Heart-Centered Meditation: Dedicate time to meditate, focusing on your heart chakra. Visualize a radiant light expanding from your heart, and then surrounding you.

Picture

(4) Affirmations of Love: Speak affirmations that connect you to your heart. Phrases like "I am dropping down into my heart now" or you can ask, "what does my heart think?" What other affirmations come to mind?

(5) Healing Connection to Nature: Spend time in nature, wherever you feel most connected to the divine. For me, it's the ocean. Where is it for you?

(6) Clear Your Energy: Cleanse & clear away negative energy from your energy field with practices like smudging, salt baths, or crystal healing.

You also can try a grounding visualization - imagine your own light surrounding you, and moving downward, deep into the earth. See it dissolve any negativity and bring back love energy into your body and into your heart.

(7) Evening Reflection: As your day ends, think of the moments where you felt connected to your love and light or felt a heart connection to others.

We're coming to the end of this post now, and there's something I really want you to take in and remember.

You are a powerful being of light, and if you can live from the heart, the power of your love can change the world.

Why Self-Love is Crucial for Lightworkers

Picture

Self-Love Prologue

We have a natural capacity for boundless love.

But instead of showering ourselves with it, first and foremost, and letting it spill over to everyone we care about, most of us neglect ourselves and give ourselves away to others. Which is not very loving at all.

When you were growing up, were you told how important it was to love yourself? Were you taught how to do it?

Most of us were not given enough love by people who didn't know how to love themselves, either. So what was modeled for us, by the people in our lives, was rejection and neglect, not self-love.

Now, as adults, we hear that it's important we love ourselves. And we're promised that it won't be selfish if we dedicate our time and our hearts to caring for ourselves with love.

But this is after we've made a habit of not doing so. And been rewarded for it in our relationships. On the job, too.

Not Loving Ourselves Enough Disempowers Us

We are disempowered when we hurt ourselves in any way, but being stingy with self-love may be the way we throw away our power most. And as lightworkers, we need access to all of our power, all of our gifts, all of our abilities.

We came here to hold and share higher frequencies, and to create higher frequency lifestyles for ourselves. So just as we pay dearly when we don't know the truth of who we are, we pay dearly when we don't love ourselves.

So beloved, this is critical, and we have to do something about it.

But first, let's think about the cost beyond our mission.

For example, when you can’t love yourself enough, you may find that you feel drained, uncertain, or disconnected from your higher purpose. Do you ever find yourself questioning your worth or doubting your abilities as a healer?

But also, think about what happens to your joy. To hope. To your ability to manifest what you need.

These are all symptoms of needing more self-love.

We don't get here, by ourselves. But we have to lead the charge on the way back to love.

You may not yet hear her message, but your divine self is calling you home to yourself, urging you to dedicate time to nurturing the connection with her, so she can help you love yourself more.

What sacred practices can you integrate into your daily life to deepen your self-love and replenish your spirit?

Here are some ideas to help you increase self-love and connect to your highest self.

Picture

How to Love Yourself More

(1) Daily Affirmations

Words carry a powerful vibration that can shift your frequency, especially if you mean them with your whole heart. When you drop down into your heart and speak the truth of your affirmations in love, you add the strength, the frequency and the healing power of love.

"I am worthy," "I am whole," "I am love."

Let these and other affirmations seep into your being, and heal your spirit.

(2) Meditation and Mindfulness

Create and choose moments of stillness.

Meditation allows you to connect with the light of your soul, and can move you into a deep sense of peace and awareness of who you are. Mindful moments throughout the day can do the same.

As you sit in silence, see what messages your divine self has for you. Try it now, and then place your hands over your heart to implant the wisdom that comes.

Use those messages, along with the affirmations, to guide yourself into greater self-love.

(3) Self-Love Crystals

Use crystals like rose quartz, amethyst, and selenite to strengthen and support your daily self-love rituals. Together they will connect you more deeply to your heart and to your divinity.

Place these crystals on your heart chakra during meditation and then carry them with you throughout the day. Without your conscious awareness, their magic will help shift your energy, but also will do so when you deliberately pause for mindful moments.

(4) Journaling and Self-Reflection

Pour out your heart onto the pages of your journal. Write about your experiences and emotions, and reflect on your dreams.

Notice the patterns or insights that emerge as you write. If you read what you’ve written back to yourself, you’re likely to have even more insights.

Your journaling practice can reveal your heart to you, deepening your understanding of and love for your true self.

(5) Self-Care Rituals

Create cozy daily rituals designed to connect you to your sacred self and to bring you comfort. Whether you choose a soothing bath infused with essential oils, a walk in nature, a morning cup of tea, or simply letting yourself rest when you need to, these acts of self-care are also acts of self-love.

And in addition to your daily ritual, what are other ways you could create sacred moments throughout your day? For example, you might try a morning ritual, a quick mini-ritual whenever you need one and then a soothing evening ritual at the end of the day.

Each of these suggestions can be acts of devotion that give you a way to be kind and loving to yourself even before you feel more self-love. But the feeling will follow and increase over time as you continue your daily practices.

5 Steps to Emotional Self-Care for Lightworkers

7/16/2024

In the past few posts, I’ve talked about living slowly and mindfully, from a heart-centered place. Doing so makes emotional self-care easier, which is all about acknowledging and accepting your feelings.

As a lightworker, you dedicate your life to healing and being there for others, but how well do you take care of yourself emotionally? When you nurture your own emotional well-being, you create a grounded place from which to offer your gifts to the world.

Picture

5 Steps to Emotional Self-Care
for Lightworkers

As a lightworker, my goal is to maintain a high vibe and connect as often and as well as possible to my divine self. But these pesky thoughts and feelings come along, lowering the vibe!

Anger, judgment, fear, sadness, negative expectations, etc. They definitely lower your frequency.

How do we handle these experiences?

Here are 5 steps you can take for self-healing and emotional self-care when negative thoughts or feelings arise.

(1) Acknowledge and Accept Your Feelings

The first step is about acknowledging whatever you’re feeling, whether it's sadness, anger, or anxiety, without judgment.

What’s on your heart? Recognizing your feelings and accepting them is the first step on your path to healing.

Instead of avoiding your feelings, or trying to talk yourself out of them, allow them, and just be with them. This way, you create a safe space for processing your feelings.

One thing that might be helpful, is to grab your journal, and write about what you’re feeling.

(2) Breathe in Serenity, Breathe out Stress

Deep breathing can be a great way to come back to center, when stress or negative feelings come your way. Try it now. Take a moment to breathe in peace and breathe out anything negative you’ve experienced today.

Deep breathing is a great way to calm your nervous system and reduce anxiety. While you're focused on the rhythm of your breath, it creates a mindful moment that gives you a break from whatever is going on in your day.

(3) Discover What Soothes and Nurtures You

Listen to music, spend time in nature or do something creative that lights you up. Getting deeply involved in an activity you love will calm your mind, anchor you in the present moment, and give you time away from any worries or troubles.

And I encourage having several go-to activities you can easily make happen, that you know will be soothing.

You could even create a self-care basket that makes it easy to grab whatever you need.

For example, if you love to read (like I do), you could include your Kindle. You also could include your journal and a pen, a mug with a tea bag or anything else you want to have on hand.

(4) Speak Kindly to Yourself, with Love

Self-compassion goes a long way toward soothing yourself when you are experiencing negative feelings. And encouraging, supportive self-talk can help to counter negative thoughts, too.

Give yourself some love, remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can, and give yourself permission to feel what you feel.

(5) Create a Healing Routine

What rituals bring you peace?

Daily rituals such as guided meditations, journaling, and goddess breathing can be powerful practices that support your emotional self-care. They can help you connect deeply with your inner goddess, and be a resource for self-healing.

Visualizing yourself surrounded by healing light or engaging in mindful breathing exercises can help release tension and restore inner peace.

And anything you do to support your own emotional self-care will ripple out to the rest of the world.

How are you at allowing and accepting your negative feelings?

See you next time!

love, Jeanine

What Happened to 4D?

7/15/2024

In one of last week's posts, I compared 3D to 5D. In response, my friend and fellow blogger, Tamara Gerber-Stutz asked, what happened to 4D? And here is my answer...

Picture
Basically, 4D is where we practice expanding our consciousness and where we heal & grow spiritually.

It's also been said that 4D can be an experience where we focus a lot of mental attention on spiritual growth and healing, learning techniques and experimenting with them, but not really moving the needle much in terms of our own development, and without really involving the heart.

To me that sounds a lot like 3D. And levels of consciousness are theorized to have both lower & higher realms, so if we were looking at a ladder of expansion or ascension, we might be talking about a 4D that is just on the other side of 3D.

I believe that at its best, 4D is meant to be a bridge to higher levels of consciousness, where we begin to practice expanding our consciousness to 5D and beyond.

Picture

But I wanted to see what else is out there about 4D consciousness. Here's some of what I got from Google's AI...

In 4D, people may realize they are conscious beings having a human experience, recognize the power of thoughts and intentions, develop compassion and understanding for others, focus on love, sharing, service, and the power of the mind and soul, and develop the ability to attract and create what they desire. - Google's AI Overview

How to Connect to 4D

Next, I went to Canva, to see what Canva's AI would have to say. It captured my point of view, and predicted my ideas, and tried to present them in my writing style...

4D consciousness is a beautiful and transformative state where our awareness shifts from the purely physical and material aspects of life to a more interconnected, heart-centered existence.

This dimension of consciousness is often described as the bridge between our tangible 3D world and the higher, more ethereal 5D reality.

Embracing 4D consciousness involves nurturing our emotional and mental landscapes, allowing us to tap into a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe.

One of the most profound aspects of 4D consciousness is its focus on love and compassion. It encourages us to see beyond the surface and recognize the divine essence within ourselves and others.

This shift allows us to cultivate self-love, which is the cornerstone of emotional healing and personal growth. By engaging in daily rituals such as guided meditations and journaling, we can gently peel away layers of fear, doubt, and negativity, revealing our inner goddess and fostering a sense of inner peace and empowerment.

A simple yet powerful practice to begin your journey into 4D consciousness is the goddess breath. This involves taking deep, intentional breaths, visualizing a radiant light filling your body with each inhale and releasing any tension or negativity with each exhale.

Pair this with a guided visualization where you imagine yourself surrounded by loving, supportive energy, and you'll create a sacred space for healing and expansion.

By integrating these practices into your daily routine, you'll find yourself more attuned to the higher frequencies of love, compassion, and unity, paving the way for a more enlightened and harmonious existence.

What Do You Think?

As it turns out, Canva's AI is pretty good at thinking like me!

I agree with almost everything it said, except goddess breathing includes the intention to breathe in your own goddess energy. But it isn't so good at writing like I do.

So now that you've had a look at what 4D is all about, what are your thoughts about it?

See you tomorrow!

love, Jeanine
