I think not being judgemental and being kind and compassionate with ourselves is very important. I wholeheartedly agree that we should forgive ourselves. After all it was just a test game. There will be many mores. Plus life is more than just one game, it's a tournament with various opponents and challenges for which we need to prepare ourselves by practicing, looking after ourselves and asking for help. 7/1/2024 11:45:23 am

So much wisdom in your words on the video. Loved hearing you speak with such strength and power, yet gentle at the same time. BRAVA! Howdy! It's interesting that your post is about forgiving and loving yourself because that plays such a huge role in the writing journey. It's a brutal game and it is so easy to start doubting and even criticizing yourself because you aren't selling enough books or getting enough followers. Oh Jeanine, this is so relatable. Thank you for this reminder to love and forgive ourselves. It's a journey I spent many years believing I didn't deserve to embark upon, now, I know that was a lie. Thanks, Kimberly!! I am so thankful to be on that journey, too. What a great video and I love how peaceful your tone is. I have a family member who was always belittled by her father, telling her she was ugly, couldn't do anything right, etc. Eventually she believed him and hated herself to almost harming herself.
