Stillness is the gateway to connecting with your goddess self. Let's take some time today to practice being still... Day Five: Being StillFind a quiet place to sit down and get comfy. Breathe patiently and fully, deeply and slowly. In this moment, give yourself permission to do nothing. Give yourself permission to savor this moment of stillness in which there’s nothing at all that needs to be done. All that's needed is staying here, relatively still, noticing your breathing. As you begin to relax more and more, notice what else your body is feeling. Is there any tension? Send peace in your next breath. Notice what your mind is doing. Is your mind tempted to head towards the future, rehearse a to-do list, or plan your next adventure? Notice if the mind would rather busy itself with reviewing the past, instead. And each time you notice, acknowledge the pull of distraction. Then with the loving and compassion, give your mind permission to rest and bring yourself back to stillness. Help your mind settle, be at peace, and be still. Allow your mind to drop into joy. Find the bliss of no longer needing to do anything. For just this moment there is nothing to do and nowhere to be. Find the bliss of simply being here, of simply being still. Continue breathing deeply and slowly. And if distractions pop up, notice them, acknowledge them, and give yourself love. Then come back to stillness. Give yourself permission to stay right here in this moment for as long as you like. And honor the sacred stillness.
