Dr. Karen Kan is a mentor whose videos I've shared here before. I admire the way she can create quick processes to try that offer healing or peace. Today she talks about a familiar lightworker concept - expanding your light. But then she says, "what if we expand the stillpoint, instead?" I tried it myself and it felt SO peaceful! I've been feeling kind of antsy lately, sometimes even a bit cranky. And my light box feels like it is no longer strong enough, even though it's 10,000 lux. In other words, it's fall. Or an experience of fall that follows a recent experience of five days of darkness. But this brief process centered me and gave me some peace. Try it yourself and tell me if it felt peaceful to you, too. Happy Sunday! love, Jeanine

Like Karen, I'm a high energy person and having to be doing something at all times. I listened to her video but didn't quite feel it, I think because my mind was working overtime and wanted to get outside to finish my project. I will listen to the video again when I'm not distracted because I can sure use some peace.

Martha, I am antsy for other reasons but I know what you mean. And if I am thinking about something I need or want to do, it's very hard to focus on something else. But hopefully, you can try it again as an evening practice, and maybe that will work. Wishing you peace!

You know, Tamara, after I uploaded the video, I wondered if I should have set it to start just before the meditation, but by then I was ready to be done with the post, so I didn't go back to it. I'm sorry! Next time, I'll do that.

I loved every word today (as I usually do with your fantastic shares!) I also found it interesting to report... I am listening to a Christmas playlist and have been reading a Christmas novel! :-) Some things stay the same, don't they?!

Thanks, Julie!! Oh good! I'm so glad you liked it. I just read that 40 minutes of music a day will help replace the dopamine you lose with fewer hours of sunlight. So maybe I need to create a 40-minute Christmas playlist! And I just finished a Christmas novel - I can't remember the name. Mistletoe something. But it's the 2nd in a series about a small town in Alaska where the locals resent the tourists.

Much needed sense of peace if only for a short time.

Great exercise! I do a lot of breathwork and somatic movements with my Goddess circles. This is a perfect addition to our meditative practices. Thanks for sharing!
