What an interesting post. It had me thinking about what old stories I have that might currently be holding me back.

Thanks! Oh, good. I think it's good for us to reflect on them to make sure we really are free.

No, but wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy? It can open your eyes to the ones that are holding you back, though. And that's a crucial first step on the road to freedom.

This is a glorious set of graphics, my friend. I could see myself meditating while gazing at them.

The old stories and the inner core wounds are coming out again, now that my friends are having grandchildren and are traveling as couples. I am remembering the bad old days when I was picked last for teams and when everyone got into couples and I was left out. I am feeling left out, alone, and excluded. For this extrovert, these feelings are bordering on intolerable. I'm not sure how to fix it.

I love the graphics. Commenting just because I accidentally cancelled my subscription.

I'm so sorry that's happening, Alice! Experiences like that do trigger wounds - for me, too. And I think when they do, self-love and self-care become super important. Because every single act of kindness toward yourself can be a balm to those wounds! Spending time with friends and family can help, too - they can remind you of your worth and importance. <3

Self love is needed to get to the inner core.
