NOTE: I was creating the tea chart late at night and there wasn't room to list ingredients. But the attributes are based on the ingredients in the teas and what has been found to be healing about them.

For example, chocolate and stress and cortisol. Cinnamon and depression and self confidence. Etc.

And this is just a partial list.

Should have added lavender and chamomile - both very soothing and comforting. Lavender is said to feel like a mother's hug, and I believe it helps with depression, too. Chamomile is a nervous tension and anxiety soother.

Best Time to Drink Your Weight Loss Teas

For weight loss, you can have green tea right after your meals. But you should do it if you do not have a sensitive stomach because green tea is alkaline in nature and stimulates the secretion of extra-gastric juices. Experts also suggest to have green tea right in the morning and later in the evening. - timesofindia.indiatimes.com
 
On the other hand, if you have any sleep issues, avoid having any caffeinated tea - including green tea - close to bedtime.

(1) So, green tea for weight loss...

before a workout
in the mornings 
evenings, if not caffeine sensitive
with or after meals (30-60 minutes after)

(2) Black tea - drink 1-2 cups before every meal for best results. 

(3) Oolong tea...

In the morning, with your breakfast
About 30 minutes before you eat lunch or dinner
When you have your evening snack - but it does have caffeine

High Protein Lunches & Healthy Snacks


We got a great request for healthy meal info, for between breakfast and dinner, and I found some great resources. My favorite was this article for protein lunch ideas that are under $10 and this one for healthy snacks.

Here are the ten lunch ideas that seemed easiest to make. I think I am going to try some of them myself...

chicken burger with sun-dried tomato aioli
chipotle shrimp quesadilla
turkey blt salad
egg salad with pastrami and swiss
